How much does a manicure cost at Amherst Nails & Spa?
Our Basic Manicure starts at $30 (cash). We also offer a Gel Manicure for $45 and an Anti-Aging Manicure for $55. Prices vary slightly for non-cash payment. See our full pricing on the Services page.
Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?
Both! We welcome walk-ins and appointments. To guarantee your preferred time—especially on weekends—we recommend calling ahead at (716) 466-2944.
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes! We are open Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Monday through Saturday we are open 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Where are you located and is there parking?
We are located at 3344 Sheridan Drive, Amherst, NY 14226. Ample free parking is available in our plaza.
What is the difference between gel and dip powder nails?
Gel nails use UV/LED-cured gel polish and are flexible and glossy. Dip powder nails are applied using a colored powder and resin—no UV light needed—and tend to be more durable and longer-lasting. Both are available at Amherst Nails & Spa starting at $45 (gel) and $50 (dip).
How long does a spa pedicure take?
It depends on the tier. Our Basic Pedicure takes 25 minutes, while luxury options like the Royal Pedicure (75 min) and Paradise Pedicure (90 min) offer extended massage and treatment time. Our Signature Pedicure is 105 minutes and includes a special crown & banner experience!
What is the Royal Pedicure and how is it different from a regular pedicure?
The Royal Pedicure ($115 cash) is a 75-minute indulgence including hydrating mask, paraffin wax, collagen gloves, orange/cucumber treatment, a 26-minute hot stone massage, warm neck pillow, and hot steamer for legs—all using gold collagen boost ingredients. It's one of our most popular premium services.
Do you offer acrylic nails?
Yes. We offer Acrylic full sets from $35, Acrylic Color from $50, Acrylic Ombre from $65, and Acrylic Pink & White from $65. Fill-ins are available as well. We also offer Gel-X, Builder Gel, and Poly Gel enhancements.
How long does gel polish last?
Gel polish typically lasts 2–3 weeks without chipping when properly applied and cared for. Avoiding harsh chemicals and wearing gloves for cleaning can extend its life. We recommend scheduling your fill or removal appointment 2–3 weeks after your service.
Do you offer kids nail services?
Yes! We love having little guests. Our Kids Services include manicure and pedicure options with regular polish and gel options. It's a great treat for birthdays, special occasions, or a fun day out. Ask us about pricing when you call.
What nail products do you use?
We use premium, professional-grade products to ensure beautiful and long-lasting results. Our team selects top brands for both safety and quality. We prioritize your health—all tools are sterilized and single-use items are used where applicable.
Do you offer waxing services?

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, gift cards are available! They make the perfect gift for birthdays, holidays, Mother's Day, or any special occasion. Ask at the front desk or call us at (716) 466-2944.
Is dip powder better than gel?
Both have advantages. Dip powder is generally more durable and longer-lasting (3–4 weeks), requires no UV light, and is considered less damaging to the nail. Gel polish offers a thinner, more flexible finish and is easier to remove. Our technicians can help you choose the best option for your nails and lifestyle.
How should I prepare for my first pedicure?
No special prep needed! Just arrive with clean feet and wear or bring open-toe footwear so your polish can dry without smudging. If you'd like to shave your legs, do it the night before—freshly shaved skin can be more sensitive. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience!
